I am a specialist in banking and financial services, macroeconomics, strategic management, international business, and corporate governance (Board Directorship). I currently serve as the General Manager – Special Projects and Bank Economist – Real Economy & Financial Markets at Equity Group Holdings PLC. Previously, I engaged in part-time lecturing for the MBA Global Strategic Management program at Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT). My academic background includes being a PhD candidate in Business Administration (Strategic Management) at JKUAT. I hold an MSc in Economics from the University of Copenhagen, Denmark, where I was a full Danish Government Scholar. I also earned an MA in Banking and Finance from Sheffield Hallam University, UK, under the Full Commonwealth Shared Scholarship Scheme. Additionally, I hold a BA in Economics from Moi University, Kenya. I have completed executive education programs at several prestigious institutions, including the General Managers Leadership Program at Columbia University (New York, USA), the Accion Strategic Leadership for Microfinance at Harvard University (Boston, USA), The Effective Director Program at Strathmore University, and the Microfinance Policy program at Boulder Institute (Turin, Italy). I am a member of the Institute of Directors of Kenya, the Economists Society of Kenya, the Kenya Institute of Bankers, the Kenya Institute of Management, and the World Economics Association.
